Hello there, dears,
"I was asked to forward the message via email I received from Glen's family. Very lovely and touching ~ it also will explain the cause of his death."

We are all so thankful for you love and support as we transition into our new lives without our amazing husband, father and grandfather. We miss him so much already and know that he lives so vibrantly in our hearts and minds that he is always going to be with us. We have heard from the medical examiner who has provided us with an explanation for Glen's surprising passing. Apparently, my dad had a heart that was just too big. We all know this and have all been graced with all the love that his giant heart had to give. In the end, he actually did have a congenitally enlarged heart and for no reason, just because apparently the time was right with his children, grandchildren and the love of his life all here, with all major projects done and the gift of an amazing new view of Mt. Baker and the twin sisters, his heart decided the time was right and during his sleep, next to his wife after a spectacular sunset, it decided to beat to its own rhythm which played a slow farewell dance and then it peacefully stopped. We have all decided that this is exactly how my dad would have wanted it to be. With a clear mind, sparkly eyes, and good health. We always remember him exactly like this. At the peak. Forever young and incredible and independent. We have been so grateful for every minute we had with him.
